RIVERSIDE SCHOOL DISTRICT - 2008/2009 STATE REPORT CARD

We received the following message:

"Thanks for the work your organization does to raise awareness of problems with local school districts in Lake County.

I live in the Riverside School District and was disappointed when I opened my copy of the Plain Dealer this Wednesday, and learned that our school district was 53rd out of 98 schools listed in the paper on how they performed on the 2008/2009 state report card. That is in the bottom half of all school districts in the Plain Dealer's coverage area.

I worry about my children and how well they will be prepared for college or whatever route they choose, and hope our school district can improve. I believe we all need to get more involved in how our schools are being run.
