According to Mr. Vaccariello, Treasurer at the Riverside Local School District "school funding ain't fixed."
During the August business meeting of the Riverside School District board of education Mr. Vaccariello claimed he received an e-mail from the local state representative - Riverside's local state representative is Mr. Mark Schneider - saying state funding for education was fixed.
Mr. Vaccariello from his discourse during the last board meeting clearly believes it is not.
Why the diametrically opposed positions?
Maybe because our local state representative believes the funding formula is fair?
Maybe because Mr. Vaccariello wants others (the state) to support Riverside's runaway costs?
Mr. Vaccariello goes on to make the point that there is very little in House Bill 1 and the educational reform just enacted HE LIKES.
Is school funding not fixed - or could Mr. Vaccariello just be complaining?
